Schleich figurines are very popular. People love the high levels of detail and realistic appearance of the models.
They can be used as both toys to play with and models to collect. Or why not do both?!
The Schleich models are made from plastic and hand-painted. They have naturalistic poses that give them a life-like appearance.
Schleich model animals and people are very similar in size and detail to Papo models and complement each other well. We also stock many Papo models. Both can be found in our medium sized farm animals section and our horses and riders 1:24 scale section.
The 1/24th Scale is a Guide Only
Schleich are approximately 1:24 scale, but please note that this is a guide only. They are larger than Britains 1:32 scale farm animals but smaller than Bruder 1:16 animals, for example. Some of the Schleich models are larger than a strict 1:24 scale. Wherever possible we include the dimensions of the Schleich toy in the individual product listing. Please check this size information if the size of the model must be exact if, for example, you are a scale model maker.

Preferring the water to land, ducks are often found feeding in flocks to avoid predators.

Baby Rabbits
There are almost 50 breeds of rabbit.
They are quite sociable and playful creatures and even answer to their name after some practice!
Badger Cubs
Badgers have a large body with a short tail and short, stocky legs. They have very powerful claws.
Of course the most striking feature about a badger's appearance is the black and white striped face!

Black and White Rabbit
Rabbits are very popular as pets. With practise a rabbit can be trained to recognise its name.
They eat a lot of hay and also need a continual supply of water.
Rabbits are quite good at withstanding cold temperatures so can be kept both inside and outside.

Blue Budgy Bird
A parakeet, or budgy, is a colourful and chatty bird that is sure to make you smile.
They are popular birds to keep as pets and can even learn up to 100 words!

Camargue Foal
When fully grown Camargue horses are approximately 1.35-1.50 metres tall.
They are normally used as work, pack or riding horses.

Camargue Stallion Horse
Camargue horses are born with a dark coat which becomes lighter and lighter as they grow, finally becoming white once the horse reaches adulthood.
They are are small, rugged horses and are primarily used as work, pack or riding horses.

Chestnut Hanoverian Foal
Hanoverian horses are particularly noble horses that are used a lot for dressage and show jumping.
It's a typical modern-day sports horse.

Clydesdale Horse
From its namesake in Scotland, the Clydesdale is a breed of draft horses, able to pull loads and often seen today in parades.
Known for being well-built, Clydesdales generally stand sixteen or seventeen hands high but have been measured at twenty. They have a placid nature.

For thousands of years Dalmatians worked as carriage dogs-they walked alongside horse-drawn chariots and then carriages, encouraging the horses to move forward.
Nowadays though, they're just along for the ride.

Dalmatian puppies are completely white when they're born. But within a few weeks they will have developed the characteristic black or dark brown spots.
