Christmas Posting Dates 2023

Don't miss the post! Stay ahead with our recommended last posting dates for Christmas 2023. Ensure all your letters, cards, and presents reach their destination in time for Christmas.

Keep in mind, these dates aren't guaranteed, so we strongly advise against leaving it to the last minute. After all, who can forget the worry caused by last year's Royal Mail industrial action in the run-up to Christmas?

UK Delivery

Christmas Day falls on a Monday this year. It's worth noting that Royal Mail and most courier companies won't be making any deliveries or collections on Christmas Eve, which falls on a Sunday.

We deliver to all parts of the UK, including the Highlands & Islands. For those living in remote areas with unpredictable weather, it's wise to place your order in advance.

The rule is simple: the sooner you send your gifts, the more money you'll save. For instance, the difference in cost for a small parcel standard delivery is £3.95, compared to £7.95 for express.

Delivery Option

Order By Date for Christmas Delivery

UK standard delivery Order by midday 20th December 2023
UK express delivery Order by midday 21st December 2023

International Delivery

Due to Brexit and challenges related to customs and order tracking beyond Europe, we regret to say that we have temporarily suspended international orders. We're currently unable to offer international shipping.

Gift Vouchers

If you've missed the last posting date or feel like time's ticking away, consider a Farm Toys Online gift voucher.

Our gift vouchers range from £5 to £50 and can be conveniently emailed to the recipient or printed out for a personal touch to slip into a card.

Gift cards are a great choice. They help you stick to your Christmas budget, avoiding any accidental overspending. Plus, they give the recipient the freedom to pick out exactly what they want, making it a win-win!

Make Your Christmas Go Without a Hitch

The last thing you want is for that perfect gift to arrive late.

While most online shops follow Royal Mail's last posting dates, it is impossible to control everything. External factors like strikes, adverse weather, or other unexpected events can impact delivery times.

To ensure your gifts reach their destination in time and to avoid any last-minute stress, don't hesitate — place your orders early and stay ahead of the Christmas rush.

So, go ahead, curl up on the sofa with a steaming hot chocolate (or a large glass of wine!) and let the Christmas shopping spree commence!

FAQs

Do You Offer Next Day Delivery?

Express UK orders made before 3pm are usually shipped the same day using a next-day delivery service. However, please note that 'Next Day' isn't guaranteed, as external factors beyond our control can impact delivery times.

Which Courier Do You Use to Deliver Orders?

All standard deliveries are shipped using Royal Mail's 48-hour tracked service. For Express orders, they are shipped using either FedEx or ParcelForce's next-day tracked service, depending on the weight and postcode.

Do You Offer a Gift Wrapping Service?

We do offer a gift wrapping service that includes beautiful green wrapping paper, twine, and a gift tag, on which we can add a personal message from you. However, please note that we can't provide gift wrapping for every item, as some items are simply too big or awkward to wrap. You can add gift wrap at the checkout.

Can You Guarantee Delivery Before Christmas?

Please note that delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

How Long Do International Orders Take to Be Delivered?

Unfortunately, due to customs and certain practical issues, such as order tracking, we have temporarily suspended international deliveries.
